Introduction:
The VLE-1000 laser energy meter supports various photoelectric and pyroelectric laser power sensors, providing stable and reliable laser energy measurement. It has basic measurement statistics, energy, re-frequency, pulse period and other measurement functions, which is convenient for users.
User interface:
Operation instructions:
1. The energy probe is connected to the signal line socket on the right side of the meter through the signal line.
2. Insert the power module plug into the power jack on the right side of the meter, and the power module is connected to 220V AC power.
3. After 1-2 seconds, the indicator will display the above interface, and at the same time the "clear indicator light" next to the "clear" button will light up, indicating that the instrument is in the initialization state. After the "clear indicator" goes out, the user can click the button on the interface to select the corresponding measured laser wavelength (the default state is 1064nm, other options include 532nm, 1570nm, and custom. The wavelength that the user can select is determined by the probe Depending on the type, pyroelectric and pyroelectric probes can choose full bands, while photoelectric probes have spectral selectivity and can only choose specific wavelengths. Generally, photoelectric probes based on Si devices can only choose 1064nm and 532nm), range, Measurement mode (default is energy measurement mode) and other options. During the selection process, the relevant information currently selected is displayed above the button.
4. After selecting the corresponding range, the meter will automatically clear to zero. If necessary, the user can also click the "Zero" button. The "Zero indicator" lights up to indicate that the meter enters the state of clearing the background signal. After the zero is cleared, "Clear" The indicator light will go out automatically.
5. Adjust the position of the laser probe so that the laser beam can be incident to the center of the probe, and then the measurement can be started, and the energy of the incident laser and related statistical information are displayed in real time. The statistical depth of the meter is 200 data, that is, the most recent 200 measurement data after the start of measurement is counted. If the measurement data exceeds 200, the statistical process automatically discards the oldest measurement data.
6. Button description:
1) "Range" button: A total of 7 range fixed range options, and another automatic range option. When the user does not know the output size of the laser under test, the automatic range can be selected. If accurate measurement is required, it is recommended to select an appropriate fixed range. Each range has a trigger threshold, which is approximately 15% of the range, which means that the meter cannot measure incident energy with an energy value lower than 15% of the range. If it is confirmed that energy is incident on the probe and the meter displays no output, you should select a lower range for measurement.
2) "Wavelength" button: The default state is 1064nm, other options include 532nm, 1570nm, and custom. The wavelength that the user can choose depends on the type of probe. Thermoelectric and pyroelectric probes can choose the full range, while the photoelectric probe has spectral selectivity and can only select specific wavelengths. Generally, photoelectric probes based on Si devices only Can choose 1064nm and 532nm
3) "Mode" button: The mode button provides three measurement mode options, namely energy, pulse repetition rate and pulse period. The default option is "Energy" mode.
Main technical specifications:
1. LRM instrument parameters
Input voltage: DC 12V
Input current: >1A
Touch screen resolution: 480×272
2. Power module parameters:
Input voltage: AC 220V
Output voltage: DC 12V
Other matters needing attention:
The number on the back of the LRM meter is XXXXX-YYY, where XXXXX is the factory number of the meter, and YYY represents the maximum pulse width that the meter can provide to accurately measure the laser pulse energy. For example, if YYY is 200, it means that the instrument limits the maximum laser pulse width to 200μs when measuring laser pulse energy. If the pulse width of the incident laser pulse exceeds 200μs, the instrument will not be able to give accurate measurements. At this time, if the pulse interval is less than 200μs for the laser working in double pulse mode, the energy value output by the energy meter is the sum of the energy of the two pulses.
During use, if the meter does not work normally, you can power on the meter again.
